Utah Home Educators Association Convention 2017 - Circus Experience

Aerobatics owners Lance and Samantha Nielsen, along with Coach Stephanie, had a blast last weekend teaching 40+ students a few circus skills at the 2017 Utah Home Educators Association Convention. This year the convention took place at the Davis Conference Center and provided an opportunity for home educators to attend workshops, view performances and browse curriculum. Aerobatics Performing Arts was asked to provide a workshop for youth, which they did to much success!

Students ranged in age from 7-17. With experienced coaches guiding them, they got to learn a few basic tricks on the aerial silks, acro/pyramids, as well as juggling. There were a lot of laughs and smiles.

Owner Samantha Nielsen said, "It is always so exciting to take a group of youth who hardly know each other, and through circus arts, turn them into a united group of circus friends who encourage and lift each other up."
